Qualification for class iv posts : 8th minimum 10+2 maximum

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union,territory of Jammu and Kashmir hereby directs that; “Tn the Subordinate Services Recaruitment Rules or any other rules governing the service in the departments and the posts indicated in Annexure-A to this notification, the Class-IV posts having Pay Level SL-2 are placed in Pay

Level SL-1. The existing employees working in these departments having Pay Level SL-2 shall continue in Pay
