Lucknow Super Giants Call Sopore Cricketer for Trials: Aamir Feroze Gets an Opportunity of a Lifetime

Aamir Feroze, a budding cricketer from Sopore in Baramulla, has been called for trials by the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Lucknow Super Giants. This comes just weeks after Jasia Akhter was bought by a franchise for the maiden Women’s Premier League, which shows the potential of sports to unite people and bring opportunities to those who work hard.

Aamir, who has been playing with a Pune-based cricket academy called Deccan Gymkhana as a net bowler for Indian star cricketer Rahul Tripathi, received high praise from everyone, although he was not called up to represent any franchise for his services. However, Lucknow Super Giants recognized his potential during his time at the academy and invited him for trials, which was a dream come true for the young cricketer.
Aamir expressed his happiness and said that he never dreamt about being called up to represent himself on such a big platform. He is ready to fight and put all his efforts into making his name appear on the ultimate list one day.
In a message to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, Aamir said that sports can replace depression and anxiety that are rising in the region. He urged the youth to boost sports and actively participate in sports-related activities, which will not only help them grow mentally and professionally but can also change their career paths.
Jammu and Kashmir have already produced talented cricketers like Parvez Rasool, Abdul Samad, seam sensation Umran Malik, and Jammu-based all-rounder Vivrant Sharma. Aamir’s opportunity now shows the potential of the region to produce more talented players who can make it big in the cricketing world.
