New Pay Commission: Good news for employees, will get benefit of new pay scale, rules fixed, salary increase, they will be eligible, amount will increase in account

Lakhs of employees have received a big gift before Holi. Actually they will be given the benefit of new pay commission. Preparations for this have been completed. With this decision of the cabinet, an increase of Rs 10 to 12 thousand in the salary of officers and employees is fixed. Guidelines have also been issued for the employees. Under which they will be given the benefit of this pay scale.

Employees New Pay Commission: Before Holi, the state government has promoted its employees. Actually, the employees posted in the departments will be given the benefit of the new pay scale. A meeting was held in the cabinet regarding the new pay scale. which has been agreed upon. The long pending demand of minimum wages by the employees has now been accepted. On which detailed guidelines have been issued. The benefit of the same increment will be given only to those who have attained the prescribed qualification for the post and whose appointment has been made by taking out the advertisement.

Order to be implemented with immediate effect

Employees posted on contract in all departments of Uttar Pradesh are to be given the benefit of seventh pay scale. Relative minimum wages have been prepared for this. The proposal for amendment of the third report of the Pay Committee has been approved. On the other hand, contract employees will be given the benefit of the seventh pay scale. On the recommendations made by the Government regarding the contract employees in the financial report of the Pay Committee 2016, the Chief Secretary Committee has ordered to implement it with immediate effect.

Rrules set

Rules and instructions have been fixed under the order issued. This benefit will be given to those employees working on contract in the government department, who fulfill the prescribed qualification for the post. Apart from this, whose appointment has been done by taking out advertisements. Under the rule issued by the government, such employees are to be given the benefit of the pay matrix level prescribed for the party related to the contract money revised pay matrix. By adding its minimum amount, the salary will be paid to the state employees by adding the amount of dearness allowance given from time to time.

Benefits of seventh pay scale

Before handing over the contract amount, it will be ensured that the work of the prescribed period for the former black employees has been done daily by the contract employees. Apart from this, such part-time employees and such contract workers, whose hours prescribed for work are less than full-time employees, will not get the benefit. Apart from this, all such employees posted on contract, who have been appointed in a transparent manner after completing the formalities regarding the posts created on the basis of advertisement issued for recruitment. They will be given the benefit of seventh pay scale. Let us inform that till now these employees are getting the minimum wages of the sixth pay scale. On the other hand, with this decision taken by the cabinet, the state government will see an additional annual expenditure of Rs 29 crore.

They will not get benefit

Under this arrangement, part-time employees including Anganwadi, ASHA workers, cooks, PRD servants, Home Guards including Kisan Mitra, Shiksha Mitra, MNREGA, Audit Coordinator and Seasonal Instructors will not be given this benefit. Along with this, this system will not be applicable for the inspection of employees engaged for seasonal work under Horticulture Department, Agriculture Department, Agricultural Education Department and contract money for schemes run by Central and State Government etc. Not only this, no appointment will be made on contract against the post created in the pay scale.

Wage committee constituted in 2016
Earlier, the pay committee constituted in 2016 had recommended to give the minimum wage of the seventh pay scale to the contractual employees as well. After examining the recommendation of the Chief Secretary Pay Committee, an appeal was made to the government to implement it. On which it has now been decided by the cabinet to give the benefits of the Seventh Pay Commission to the contractual employees.
