JKBOSE Likely to Announce 8th class 2023 Results Tomorrow
On April 9, the Jammu and Kashmir State Council for Educational Research and Training (JK-SCERT) announced that the results for the 8th class 2023 exams will be declared on April 10, 2023. According to a top official, all the necessary processes have been completed, and the results are ready to be announced. The 8th class exams were held from February 27 to March 10, 2023, and the academic session is set to commence one week after the results are announced
In other news, the Annual Transfer Drive (ATD) for teaching staff of the School Education Department is expected to begin shortly. Online links will be opened only after everything is set in order for the ATD to start, as per an official. Moreover, the official stated that the new timings for schools within the Srinagar Municipal Limits would soon be decided.
Discrepancy in working hours for schools within and outside Municipal Limits
The government recently announced that the working hours for schools in Srinagar Municipal Limits would be from 9 am to 2 pm, while schools outside Municipal Limits would maintain their current working hours from 10 am to 4 pm, resulting in a one-hour discrepancy.
