Sarpanch rapes woman in Baramulla, arrested
A sarpanch has been arrested for raping a woman in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police official said that sarpanch was arrested on basis of compliant of a woman who alleged that she was raped by him.
He identified him as Ali Mohammed Dar, a resident of Rawoocha Rafiabad.
He said that case FIR no 26/2023 u/s 376, 506, 109 IPC has been registered in concerned police station and investigation has been taken up he said
