Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, made waves in T20I cricket during the fifth and final match against New Zealand at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
His impressive innings of 69 runs off 44 balls saw him achieve another milestone. The Pakistan captain became the batter with the highest number of fours in T20I cricket, surpassing Ireland’s Paul Stirling.
With two sixes and six fours in his 108th T20I inning, Babar’s total count of fours reached 409, edging past Stirling’s record of 407 fours in 136 innings.
