J&K Bank Announces New Feature-Rich Mpay Application for Enhanced Customer Experience

In a recent announcement, J&K Bank has revealed its plans to introduce a new mobile banking application aimed at providing a superior customer experience. The decision comes after the bank’s existing mobile banking platform, “Mpay Delight,” encountered temporary outages on the eve of Eid ul Zuha, causing inconvenience to its customers.

Despite these challenges, J&K Bank managed to process an impressive 71 lakh online transactions, amounting to a total of Rs 4170 Crores, through its digital platforms, including Mpay, during the three-day period leading up to the Eid festival. However, in light of the inconvenience caused, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, the Bank’s General Manager (IT Vertical), expressed sincere regret to the bank’s customers.

To rectify the situation and ensure a seamless banking experience for its customers, J&K Bank has been diligently working on developing a new and feature-rich mobile banking application. This new application aims to enhance the existing capabilities and address any shortcomings experienced by customers during the recent outage.
